Please have your Wollaston Waste Site pass available.

Coe Hill Community Composting!!

Join in on our
Community Composting Program

Register for the program at the Waste Site.
Pick up a 10 kg (2.5 gallon) pail (a deposit of $3.00 is required for the cost of pail and cleaning),
composting instructions, and you are ready to begin saving your organic scraps.
Return the full pail to the Waste Site for a clean replacement and start over.
There will be sifted compost material ready for fall garden work and again in the spring for those who
have participated in the program.
We can reduce the amount of waste put in the landfill, and boost our garden soil composition.

2010 Tree and Shrub Planting Program:

The Bancroft Area Stewardship Council and Bancroft Area Forest Industry Association subsidize the cost of  trees, shrubs, blue bird boxes and bat houses for rural landowners to create wildlife habitat on their property.

They are available on a "first come, first served" basis each spring while quantities last up until April 1, 2010.
